Zarif back home from India

New Delhi, Jan 10, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif left New Delhi for Tehran after three days of intensive political and economic talks.

Zarif, who arrived New Delhi late on Monday, sat down for talks with the Indian Road transport minister Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday.

He also attended gathering of Indian elites and delivered a lecture in the economic forum with the Iranian and Indian economic operators and entrepreneurs in attendance.

The top diplomat also held talks with the former Italian prime minister, Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj and Spanish Foreign Minister Josep Borrell during his two-day visit to India.

Cooperation in the energy sector, transit and development of Chabahar, banking and monetary issues were at the core of his discussions with the Indian officials.
