Pardis Technology Park, UNICEF ink memorandum of cooperation

Tehran, 8 Jan, IRNA - Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between Pardis Technology Park of Iran's Vice President Department for Scientific Affairs and the UNICEF was signed with the approach to developing innovative children's initiatives and strengthening student innovation.

Mehdi Saffarinia, head of the Pardis Technology Park and Will Parks UNICEF representative in Tehran were signatories to the agreement, which refers to the two sides' emphasis on support for innovative technology in the field of children.

Addressing the the MoU signing ceremony, Will Parks, director of the UNICEF office in Tehran, referred to his visit of Pardis Technology Park three months ago and said, 'I am very pleased to receive the approval of the memorandum by Ministry of Foreign Affairs shortly after the visit and today we were able to sign the document with the largest Middle East Technology Park.'

Saffarinia, the head of Technology Park, for his part expressed satisfaction with the opportunity to work with the UNICEF.

Referring to the signing of the document as a starting point for joint cooperation, Saffarnia said by signing the memorandum, joint cooperation in such fields as the development of the exobiology innovation, Noor Student Award and the International Innovation and Technology Exhibition (INOTEX) will be defined and implemented.
