‘Murphy’s Law’ sets new box office record

Tehran, Jan 8, IRNA - Iranian film ‘Murphy’s Law’, directed by Rambod Javan, broke box office record after four days of screening.

The flick managed to shine in the box office sales in domestic cinema theaters by raking 10 billion rials after four days of screening, ifilmtv.ir reported.

This record is considered a huge success for a film making its début.

“A girl, Sara, is abducted and Bahman goes to the north of the country to help find her. However, he faces numerous unexpected events,” a synopsis of the flick reads.

The cast of the action comedy includes Amir Jafari, Amir Jadidi, Hadi Kazemi, Sirous Gorjestani, Anahita Dargahi, Arsha Aqdasi and Soroush Sehhat.

Javan plays the lead role in the film, which is his third movie.

The shooting for Javan’s action comedy took place in Tehran and some northern cities of Iran.
