Iran, Slovakia call for development of business cooperation

Tehran, Jan 6, IRNA - Vice chairman of the Iranian Energy Commission of Parliament and Slovak economic activists in a meeting called for the expansion and strengthening of bilateral trade relations.

A number of Slovak economic activists in Tehran met with vice chairman of Energy Commission Hossein Amiri Khamkani on Sunday.

'We, as economic activists, will strive to further strengthen the business relationship between the two countries,' said Slovak economic activists pointing out the long-standing friendship between the two countries.

Slovak business activists added, 'We have good experience in renewable energy and we want to strengthen our cooperation with Iran in this area.”

The Iranian official also referred to the economic and trade relations between Iran and Slovakia, saying Iran's parliament welcomes the development and strengthening of its relations with the country in various areas.

Referring to economic relations between the two countries, he emphasized the readiness of the Iranian parliament to facilitate trade between Iran and Slovakia.
