Trump has taken int’l organizations hostage: MP

Tehran, Jan 6, IRNA – US President Donald Trump has taken international organizations hostage as he undermines or quits them when he finds them not working in line with his interests, said a member of Majlis (Iranian parliament).

Mohammad Javad Jamali-Nobandegani, a member of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission’s presiding board, said that Americans’ doctrine is based on the fact that the international treaties and organization are creditable for them as long as they move in line with their interests.

Referring to the US and the Zionist regime’s withdrawal from many international treaties and organizations including UNESCO, he said that the US left Paris Agreement, JCPOA and UNESCO within a year.

It may exit The Hague Internationa Court and violate the missile strategic deal with Russia, he said.

The MP further noted that Trump is less experienced in politics but experienced in terms of commerce and all those supported him were compelled to resign and withdraw their backing.

Recently, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in a message ridiculed US administration's addiction to withdrawal from international agreements.

'Is anything left for the Trump Administration and its client regime to withdraw from? Perhaps from planet Earth altogether?,' he said in a tweet.

US President Trump announced on May 8, 2018 the withdrawal from the JCPOA, which was condemned by other parties to the 2015 agreement and their emphasis to stay in the landmark international deal.

The US administration along with the Israeli regime has officially pulled out of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
