'The capabilities and facilities of the Ministry of Defense's Naval Industries Department are aimed at developing tourism projects,' Admiral Rastgari, also chief of Naval Industries Department of Defense Ministry, said in a meeting with governor-general of Gilan province on Saturday.
He noted that the Naval Industries Department has progressed well in the production of floating structures.
Admiral Rastgari stated that the Naval Industries Department has the ability to construct vessels in the range of 12 to 18 months, adding that in composite and radial-speed vessels this period has reached 45 days.
