UAE airstrike on Yemen kills 7 civilians

Tehran, Jan 4, IRNA – The UAE helicopters’ attacks on Shabwa Province of Yemen claimed the lives of 7 civilians, Yemeni TV Channel ‘Al-Masirah’ reported.

The UAE choppers bombarded Yemenis’ houses in MerkhahTown.

This is while, at least 10 people were killed in a clash between militants under the protection of the UAE and the tribes of Shabw province in southeastern Yemen on Friday.

Analysts believe that the movements of the UAE and the militants to Abu Dhabi in southern Yemen are in line with its ambitious goals for targeting oilfields in the southern provinces of Yemen.

Bypassing Saudi Arabia in the Yemeni war in 2016, the UAE formed its militant groups in southern Yemen that attacked the houses of the people and arrested them and then tortured them in detention centers.

Saudi Arabia and its regional allies attacked Yemen in March 2015 to bring back to power the deposed president of Yemen Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi.

Since then, the invaders have committed horrible war crimes against Yemeni civilians.
