Al-Youm wrote Monday that the US non-direct military defeats in the Middle East, the last of which is aggression on Yemen and after that the failed Zionist missile attack on Syria last Thursday, have worried American generals.
The daily added that many experts believed that a Thursday night missile attack on Syrian territory, which was the first Israeli aggression on Syrian territory after the Russian S-300 military defense system had been handed over to Syria and 55th Zionist aggression on Syrian territory in the last 18 years, was only to ensure Israeli public opinion after the Syrian army is equipped with four S-300 launchers.
Ray-al-Youm described the failure of the US Patriot missile system in the face of the Yemeni Ansarullah ballistic missiles as another defeat of the US in the Middle East, adding, 'The efforts of the Arab Coalition led by Saudi Arabia in Yemen were not successful in spite of the American intelligence and logistical support, and American weapons seem to succeed only in situations where the other party is not armed.
