50 Iranian works receive authenticity stamp of handicrafts

Tehran, Oct 29, IRNA- Some 50 works of art from Iran have received the authenticity stamp of the handicrafts within the framework of evaluation of the artistic works of the Asia-Pacific region.

According to IRNA, on Monday, Ghada Hijjawi, Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Region of the World Council of Handicrafts, said in the ceremony of announcing the arbitrary results of the authenticity stamp of handicrafts that was held at the Blue Hall of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization, “Most of the works that were able to receive the authenticity stamp of handicrafts were from Iran with Oman taking the second place.

She continued, “The trip was aimed at having Iran's artistic crafts, evaluated and we hope good results would be achieved by Iranian artists.”

Hijjawi noted, “It was a very well-planned trip, and Iran has a lot of valuable and magnificent industries that should be introduced and seen.”

Kṛiṣhṇa, member of the World Handicraft Council, said in another part of the ceremony, 'All Iranian handicrafts items are magnificent and valuable”.

Pooya Mahmoudian, a deputy director of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization said, “The position of the people who get the authenticity stamp of handicrafts is very important.”
