Zionist attacks inflict more casualties in eastern Gaza

Tehran, Oct 24, IRNA – One Palestinian was killed and seven others wounded in yet another Zionist attack on Palestinian civilians in eastern Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said on Tuesday.

A seventeen-year-old boy was killed during a Zionist military strike on Palestinians in Deir al-Balah, in al-Burayj, eastern Gaza, Ma'an News Agency reported the Palestinian Ministry of Health as saying.

Over the past few days, Zionist troops have arrested a number of Palestinians in the Occupied West Bank and Jerusalem (al-Quds).

At least 115 Palestinians were wounded at the 30th week of the March of Return protests along Gaza border with the occupied Palestinian territories which was held last Friday.

The March of Return is a series of protests held by Palestinians which have been held every Friday since March 30, 2018. The protesters demand that Palestinian refugees and their descendants be allowed to return to their mother land, a land they have been displaced from.

The Gaza Strip and the Occupied Territories have been the scene of mounting tension since the president of the United States Donald Trump announced on December 6, 2017 Washington’s recognition of Jerusalem (al-Quds) as Israel’s capital and promised the US would move its diplomatic mission to the city.

He kept his promise and relocated US embassy to the holy Quds on May 14th, a controversial move which drew fire from across the political spectrum.

At least two-hundred and one people have thus far been killed in the protests and over 22,000 others wounded.
