Iran's FM to discuss CFT with lawmakers

Tehran, Oct 22, IRNA – Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif will attend the country's parliament on Tuesday to elaborate on the bill of Iran joining the legislation of Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT).

A member of presiding board of Iran's parliament, Asadollah Abbasi told Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) that the Foreign Minister and his deputy Abbas Araqchi will attend Majlis to give explanations on the talks with the Europeans related to nuclear deal and the country's status with regard to FATF.

At the meeting that will be held behind closed doors, the Iranian diplomats will also elaborate on CFT and answer the lawmakers, he said.

The Member of Parliament also noted that some other international and regional developments, including the abduction of Iranian border guards, will be discussed at the meeting.
