Al Saud consolidated governance with murder, intimidation

Beirut Oct 20, IRNA -- Khalil Harb, an analyst and editor of the Journal electronic newspaper in Lebanon, pointing to the fate of Saudi critic journalist Jamal Khashoggi, says Al Saud has consolidated its governance with murder and intimidation.

He added, “Reading Al Saud's history will not make us wonder about all the crimes they commit, such as what has been done in the case of Khashoggi, because we are faced with a system of systematic crack down.

Harb said in an interview with the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) that the founder of the regime fought with various tribes of the Arabian Peninsula and executed their captives after the gathering, and only one of them survived to say what happens to others. Intimidation and fear has been one of the main ways of establishing the Saudi regime. What is called in the name of the National Day in Saudi Arabia is, in fact, the day that Al Saud celebrated the overthrow of other tribes and subjugated them.

According to the Lebanese analyst, during the last two years, many Saudis were imprisoned and many of them were killed in the war, and their families did not even dare to question their fate.

Referring to the US interests in maintaining relations with Saudi Arabia, he pointed out, “I think that Trump is to a large extent explicit. It is true that he speaks with impoliteness, but he speaks brightly. Referring to Saudi Arabia's 110 billion dollars worth arms purchases from the United States, he said he could not lose it against Russia and China. Also, Trump said the crime had taken place in another country, and Khashoggi was not a citizen of the United States, and he did not have to economically lose due to this issue.
