Zionist fighters bomb Hamas positions in Gaza

Tehran, Oct 17, IRNA – Zionist regime fighters on Wednesday attacked several times the positions of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip.

At least three Palestinians were wounded in the attack, Al Mayadeen TV channel cited the Palestinian Ministry of Health as saying.

Reports say the raid on southern Gaza Strip caused fear among Palestinian school students.

Authorities of the Zionist regime of Israel announced on Wednesday morning the Resistance group had fired two missiles toward the positions of the occupying regime of the holy Quds.

The Zionist airstrikes on several areas in the Gaza Strip came only a day after the Zionist war minister, Avigdor Lieberman, said he, unlike anyone else, thinks there is no chance of peace with Hamas.

While efforts to keep the truce between the Zionist regime and Hamas forces are still underway, the Zionist war minister said there will be an all-out war with the Palestinian organization.

Since the beginning of the March of Return, conflict between Hamas and the Zionist regime has escalated in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Two-hundred and two Palestinians have thus far been killed and over 22,000 others wounded.

The March of Return is a series of protests held by Palestinians which have been held every Friday since March 30, 2018. The protesters demand that Palestinian refugees and their descendants be allowed to return to their mother land, a land they have been displaced from.

The Gaza Strip and the Occupied Territories have been the scene of mounting tension since the president of the United States Donald Trump announced on December 6, 2017 Washington’s recognition of al-Quds (Jerusalem) as Israel’s capital and promised the US would move its diplomatic mission to the city.
