Resistance group fires rockets at Zionist positions

Tehran, Oct 17, IRNA - Al-Jazeera TV channel reported on Wednesday morning Zionist authorities have confirmed two missiles have been fired toward the positions of the occupying regime of the holy Quds.

Zionist officials refused to touch upon the possible casualties, saying the missiles landed on Beersheba, south of the occupied territories.

Prior to the strike, media outlets had announced several parts in the Gaza Strip had been targeted and a loud boom was heard in Palestine.

The Zionist airstrikes on several areas in the Gaza Strip came only a day after the Zionist war minister, Avigdor Lieberman, announced he, unlike anyone else, thinks there is no chance of peace with Hamas.

The Zionist war minister said last July the number of missiles launched from the Gaza Strip toward Israeli territory has increased eightfold since the beginning of 2018, reaching 289.

According to the Zionist Security Agency, most of the missiles were launched in April, May and June, reaching a peak on May 29th and 30th on which 100 missiles and rockets were fired at Israel.
