Islamabad, Oct 13, IRNA -- Pakistani political leader has suggested forming a coordination committee of Iran, Pakistan and Iraq to facilitate Pakistani pilgrims going to holy places for Arbaeen.

In an interview with IRNA, Secretary General Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan (MWM) Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari said that Arbaeen march is a symbol of unity of Muslim world.

He said that a committee with representatives of foreign, interior and religious ministries of Iran, Pakistan and Iraq should be formed to help facilitate pilgrims heading towards the holy sites for Arbaeen.

He urged the government of Pakistan to take more steps to facilitate pilgrims at Pak-Iran Taftan border.

The MWM leader expressed gratitude to the government of Iran for providing excellent facilities to the Pakistani pilgrims.

He also thanked Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei for his attention regarding facilities to Pakistani pilgrims.

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, expressing his views, said that airlines of Iran and Pakistan should also launch direct flights between Pakistan and holy places to help facilitate pilgrims which would also give good business to them.

The religious leader went on to say that Arbaeen march is a symbol of unity of Muslim world and Muslims through their unity would undermine all conspiracies against them.

Earlier Pakistan’s Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Khan Afridi told IRNA that after assuming the charge of ministry he went to Iran-Pakistan border at Taftan to review the facilities and security provided to pilgrims traveling to Iran.
