Iran MPs to decide on CFT bill today

Tehran, Sept 30, IRNA – Iranian parliament is scheduled to decide on bill on Iran's accession to the Convention on Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) on Sunday.

The Sunday session started with the attendance of 200 MPs.

During the meeting, MPs discussed economic issues.

MPs will discuss Iran's accession to international laws, Spokesman for National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Majlis Ali Najafi Khoshroudi earlier told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Saturday.

Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) involves investigating, analyzing, deterring and preventing sources of funding for activities intended to achieve political, religious or ideological goals through violence and the threat of violence against civilians.
