Australia moving away from US anti-Iran policies

Tehran, Sept 29, IRNA- Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne says her country was moving away from the anti-Iran policies of the US President Donald Tramp.

In an address to the United Nations General Assembly, Payne referred to Australian prime minister's words at the Assembly and called for his country to be away from the anti-nuclear program of Trump.

Payne insisted that Australia is committed to the JCPOA, signed in 2015 by former US President Barack Obama and British, Chinese, French, Russian and German leaders and the European Union and it cannot be violated as long as Iran adheres to the provisions of this agreement.

She said for that reason, the world is far-sightedly watching the US-North Korean negotiation on the process of denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula from nuclear weapons in accordance with the UN resolutions without returning to the past, going on well.
