Envoy discusses facilitating Iranian nationals in Brazil

Tehran, Sept 29, IRNA – Iran envoy to Brasilia Ali Saqaian in a meeting with Brazilian Minister of Justice Torquato Jardim reviewed facilitating issues related to Iranian nationals in Brazil.

According to Iran diplomatic mission in Brazil, Torquato showed green light for presenting facilities.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to develop bilateral and multilateral cooperation in legal and judiciary fields.

The volume of trade ties between the two countries reached from about $400 million in the late 1990s to over $ 2.4 billion in 2011.

Due to cruel sanctions against Iran, the figure declined to $1.4b in 2014.

After the implementation of Iran nuclear deal, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the figure rose to $2.3b in 2016.
