Iran one of Pakistan’s most pivotal neighbors: Pak advisor

Islamabad, Sept 29, IRNA - Pakistan’s Special Assistant to Prime Minister for overseas Pakistanis and human resource development says Iran is Pakistan’s most pivotal neighbors and the new government will try its best to further enhance ties with the Islamic Republic.

In an interview with IRNA, Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari said ties between Iran and Pakistan are in far better situation ever been before.

“I believe that current government of Pakistan would like to see transparency in ties with Iran which maybe in the past they never had,” he said.

The official went on to say that Pakistan is geographically one of the most well placed countries in the world and could play a big role to help solve Iran’s problems with rest of the world.

“We will do everything to improve our ties with Iran with honor and integrity,” he said.

Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari went on to say ‘hopefully we will have more trade and dialogue between Iran and Pakistan’.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister while condemning Ahvaz terror attack last Saturday said,' We with our full hearts and prayers condemn what had happened in Iran on such a high profile occasion.

“We pray that after a tragedy like this they find more resolve and strength,” he said.

The minister said,'We condemn all forms of terrorism; terrorism has no race, no culture, religion and we condemn it across the woard.
