Ardebil prov, Azerbaijan to develop economic coop

Baku, Sept 27, IRNA – Ardebil governor Akbar Behnamjou and Economic Development Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev in a meeting discussed developing economic cooperation.

During the meeting, which was also held with the attendance of managing director of Iran Railways Saeed Mohammad Zadeh, both sides discussed cooperation in the railways field.

Mustafayev expressed condolences over the recent deadly terror attack in southwestern Iran.

Tehran-Baku cooperation is in high level, he said.

He also referred to successful cooperation between the two countries in the economic and transportation fields, saying mutual visits and meetings play major role in developing ties.

Meanwhile, Mohammadzadeh elaborated on the measures taken by Iran in line with completing the North-South Corridor.

In the meantime, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Railways Javid Gurbanov pointed to opening Baku-Astara highway, saying both countries have many capacities in the transportation field.
