Int'l lawyer warns US of anti-Iran claims

Tehran, Sept 26, IRNA - A prominent law expert from Geneva's Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies has warned the US administration of its anti-Iran allegations.

'The Trump administration officials should first read the UN Special Rapporteur's recent report on 'Extreme poverty and Human rights in the US' before lecturing the Iranian government on 'plundering its nation's wealth,' Reza Nasri tweeted on Wednesday.

'US extraterritorial laws (secondary sanctions) are the biggest threat to 'sovereignty'!, he added in another message.

Meanwhile, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said that the US has no right to weaken international bodies and meetings.

No matter how strong the United States is, it is not entitled to undermine such meetings and organizations and threaten and prosecute international judges, he noted.
