Iran taking part in Qatar construction expo

Doha, Sept 25, IRNA – ‘The Big 5 Qatar’ construction exhibition kicked off at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) with the participation of 10 Iranian companies.

Iranian private sector companies active in ceramic and tile, intelligent parking equipments, steel plates, concrete admixtures, pipes, cabinets, and heating-cooling systems have participated in the event.

The Qatari Minister of Municipality and Environment Mohamed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi formally inaugurated the event on Monday.

Qatari Prime Minister Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani and Minister of Economy and Trade Ahmed bin Jassim Al Thani also attended the opening ceremony.

The Big 5 Qatar construction exhibition is a multi-section event series supported by Qatar Tourism Authority to pave the way for the presence of international contractors to join the preparations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the long-term Qatar Vision 2030.

240 companies from 21 international countries take part in the three-day-event.

The event is underway on September 24-26 in the Qatari capital city of Doha.
