Over 3000 civilians killed in US-led strikes in Syria: Rights monitor

Tehran, Sept 24, IRNA— More than 3,300 civilians have been killed since the beginning of the US-led international coalition's strikes against Daesh (ISIS) terrorists in Syria, according to a report by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Citing the report by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the London-based Al-Quds al-Arabi, reported Sunday that since summer 2014, when international coalition attacks began in Syria, 3,331 civilians, including 826 children, have been perished.

However in its most recent report released in late August, the International coalition admitted a total of 1061 civilians have lost their lives in the US-led coalition attacks on Syria and Iraq.

Since August 2014, Washington and some of its allies, have killed many Syrian civilians and razed the country's infrastructure into ground under the excuse of fighting the Daesh terrorist organization.

The Syrian government has repeatedly written letters to the United Nations and the Security Council, urging them to stop the coalition's illegal attacks.
