Pak provincial Speaker calls for enhancing Iran-Pak parliamentary ties

Islamabad, Sept 24, IRNA -- Speaker of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial Assembly Mushtaq Ghani called for promotion of parliamentary ties between Iran and Pakistan.

In an interview with IRNA, he said exchange of delegations between the two countries is another way to promote the bilateral ties.

The Speaker said when parliamentarians of any two countries meet with each other and discuss different things, it helps to improve the ties between the two states also.

He said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial Assembly is ready to enhance its ties with the parliament of Iran. “In near future we will pay visit to Iran also,” he said.

Mushtaq Ghani expressing his views said there is intense need of exchange programs of the investors of both the countries.

“Investment in energy sector is the need of our province and we have lot of potential here in mineral sector also,” he said.

The Speaker went on to say that if investors from Iran come over here and our investors go to Iran they can jointly start different projects and this would help in boosting the economic relationship between the two friendly states.

“This is the way to promote the business between the two countries,” he said.
