Tehran key partner of Minsk: Belarusian Speaker

Tehran, Sept 8, IRNA – Iran is a main partner for Belarus and the two countries' relations are based on mutual respect, Speaker of Belarus' Council Mikhail Myasnikovich of Republic said.

At a meeting with his Iranian counterpart on Friday, Mikhail Myasnikovich said that Iran and Belarus should boost their relations on science, education, humanitarian issues, provincial interactions, logistics and transportation.

Iran's Parliament speaker Ali Larijani was visiting Belarus for talks with his counterparts and senior officials of the country.

'We consider Iran as an industrially developed country with a sustainable economy,' he said emphasizing the importance of the Iranian 'highly skilled work force'.
Chairman of Belarus House of Representative Vladimir Andreichenko at the meeting highlighted the visit by Iranian speaker, calling Iran a key partner of Belarus.

He also welcomed his Iranian counterpart suggestion on enhancing bilateral cooperation in public transport, machinery and bus manufacturing.
