Yemeni drone targets Sudanese forces in south of S. Arabia

Tehran, Sept 3, IRNA – Yemeni Army’s drone targeted positions of Sudanese forces affiliated to the Arab coalition in south of Saudi Arabia.

According to Almasirah news website, Yemeni army targeted military positions in Jizan with a ballistic missile.

This is while the media outlets affiliated to Saudi Arabia claimed that Saudi Arabia's air defense system had intercepted the missile over Jizan.

Yemeni Army’s artillery unit as well as popular committees announced that some 267 Saudi mercenaries were killed and 407 wounded during attacks in August.

Saudi Arabia and a number of its regional allies launched a devastating military campaign against Yemen in March 2015, with the aim of bringing the government of Hadi back to power and crushing the country’s Houthi Ansarullah movement.

Some 15,000 Yemenis have been killed and thousands more injured since the onset of the Saudi-led aggression.

More than 2,200 others have died of cholera, and the crisis has triggered what the United Nations has described as the world's worst humanitarian disaster.
