The event was held with the attendance of Iran, India, Pakistan, South Korea and Argentina on June 22-30.
Iranian team hit Argentina and was overpowered by South Korea and advanced the semi-final match.
In the semi-final match, Iran defeated Pakistan 40-21 and advanced the final match.
The 2018 Asian Games will start in Jakarta, Palembang on August 18 and over 10,000 athletes from 45 countries will participate in the event.
Iran men’s kabaddi team has so far attended three rounds of the Asian Games.
In 2006, Iran ranked 4th in Doha, Qatar and in 2016 and 2014 competitions which were held in China and South Korea, Iranian squad ranked 2nd.
