China to invest $2b in N Iran

Tehran, May 28, IRNA – A Chinese investment company is to invest two billion dollars to make a refinery in Mazandaran Province, northern Iran, deputy head of Investment center of the province said.

'The Chinese company is seriously following up the projects,' said Mousa Qasem-Pisheh.

Qasem-Pisheh added that German, Chinese, and Austrian companies have received permits to make three power plants in the province. The projects will collectively cost 37 million dollars.
