President: Trump wrong decisions to cause US isolation

Tehran, May 15, IRNA – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said the US wrong decision to withdraw from Iran's nuclear deal and moving its embassy from Tel-Aviv to Holy Quds (Jerusalem) will lead to Washington's isolation in the world.

'The history will judge about the current US government's wrong decision on Iran and the people of the region,' Rouhani said in a meeting with New Zealand's new Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran Hamish MacMaster.

The US isolation before the world public opinion is the first result of such wrong decision, President Rouhani added.

During the meeting, New Zealand's new ambassador submitted his credentials to the Iranian President, and said that the world states' support for the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) shows this agreement's high place in the international relations.

Wellington wants development of all-out ties with Iran, in particular in field of economy, the envoy added.
