'This achievement - the establishment of the constitutional commission - will be forwarded to the UN, in line with resolution 2254, the work of this new structure - the constitutional committee to prepare the Syrian constitution - will be organized in Geneva,' Russian FM was quoted as saying.

Syria National Dialogue Congress wrapped up in the Russian resort city of Sochi late on Tuesday adopting a 12-point statement outlining the Syrians’ view on their country’s future.

The participants of the congress also requested the UN Secretary-General to assign the Special Envoy for Syria for the assistance of the Constitutional Committee work in Geneva.
