Iran, Spain Universities sign MoU

Ardebil, Jan 31, IRNA – Iran's Mohaqeq Ardebili University and Spain's Cordoba University signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to broaden academic cooperation between the two universities.

Head of international, scientific cooperation office of Mohaqeq Ardebili University Mohammad Taqi Al-Ebrahim said on Wednesday that an MoU on academic cooperation was signed with Spain's Cordoba University.

In the framework of the MoU exchanging students and faculty members would be possible.

He added that the MoU was signed by chancellors of the two universities.

According to the MoU, execution of projects and post-graduate courses will be possible, the official continued.

Al-Ebrahim said that to exchange students and execution of international joint projects, Cordoba University had already acted upon Europe Erasmus Plan and in case of final agreement of the European Union to pay international fund, which will be clarified on June 2018, the scientific exchanges will be supported financially.

Mohaqeq Ardebili University was founded in 1978 and currently has around 11,000 students in 11 faculties at different levels of studies.
