Rahbari defeated athletes from Georgia, Belarus, Azerbaijan and Chile, Head of Gilan sports and youth office Saeed Alipour told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Tuesday.

In play-off stage, he hit Georgia, Hong Kong and Belarus.

During the final match, Iranian athlete overpowered Georgia 15-14 and received a gold medal.

The Fencing World Cup was held on January 28 in Tbilisi.
