Iran, Kazakhstan examine agricultural cooperation

Tehran, Jan 30, IRNA – Director General for International Affairs and Expert Organizations at the Ministry of Agriculture Jihad Homan Fathi said on Tuesday that the Islamic Republic of Iran and Kazakhstan explored grounds for the expansion of cooperation in agriculture.

Fathi said in a meeting with deputy governor general of East Kazakh on Tuesday.

In the meeting, Fathi exchanged views on the establishment of livestock units (light and heavy), oilseed crops, construction of oil mills, construction of poultry units, construction of livestock food factories, aquaculture activities and export of livestock among Iran's privileges in broadening cooperation with Kazakhstan.

Kazakh economic delegation met with Iranian officials at the ministry of agriculture jihad to study the expansion of relations and cooperation in the field.
