Gilan exports non-oil goods worth over $257m in ten months

Anzali, Jan 29, IRNA – The northern province of Gilan exported 384,537 tons of non-oil products worth $257,590,000 in the first 10 months of the current Iranian calendar year (beginning on March 21, 2017), head of Gilan Customs said.

'Of the items exported, goods worth $93,261,000 weighing 90,907 tons were exported from Anzali Customs which showed a 9% growth in value compared with the same period last year,' Vida Shafaghati said.

'The exported goods consisted of crops, fruit, tea, minerals, glass, food industry products, weaving and plastic products,' she said.

They were exported to Azerbaijan, Russia and Kazakhstan, she added.

She also referred to Georgia, Iraq, India, Ukraine, Germany, Belarus, Armenia, France Moldova, England, Pakistan, the UAE, Malaysia and Afghanistan as the most important trade destinations from Gilan Customs.
