Iran attends Sufi music of Muscat Festival 2018

Tehran, Jan 28, IRNA – Iranian classical and Persian traditional singer Salar Aghili participated in the Sufi section of Muscat Festival 2017.

Muscat Festival is one of the most important cultural and art programs in Oman, Iranian cultural attaché to Oman Bahman Akbari told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Sunday.

Attempts have been made to develop cultural and art relations between Iran and Oman, he added.

Holding handicrafts exhibition, art groups participation in the event are among most Iran’s most important art programs, he noted.

Salar Aghili is a classical and traditional Persian singer. His spouse, Harir Shariat–Zadeh is a Persian musician as well who plays Piano and Daf. His main teacher was Sedigh Ta'rif.

Salar Aghili is the singer of Iran's National Orchestra.
