Iranian movie bags Lebanese film fest award

Tehran, Jan 27, IRNA – Iranian movie Rag-e Khab (Subdued) directed by Hamid Nematollah received Jounieh International Film Festival 2018 Award.

Jounieh International Film Festival was held on January 17-22 in Lebanon.

The movie narrates the story of 'Mina, who recently got divorced from her husband, struggling to maintain an independent life with no supportive family. She eventually finds a job in a restaurant. A friendship between her and the manager gradually becomes something more. It’s the beginning of a tumultuous emotional journey for Mina.'

The “Jounieh International Film Festival – JIFF” is an international event conceived to promote cinema’s culture among the population by proposing a selection of feature films; narratives and documentaries, to be showcased during the festival day for free at Central College Jounieh (CCJ).

An international Jury comprised of well-known personalities from the cinema industry will be accompanying the Festival.

JIFF is a movie competition where participants compete to win awards. JIFF also includes other activities in parallel to the main competition, embracing it spirit.
