Finnish agricultural delegation to visit Tehran

Tehran, Jan 27, IRNA – A senior official said that Iran and Finland have agreed on boosting cooperation in the field of agriculture.

The agreement was reached between Director General for international affairs and specialized organizations of the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad Homan Fathi in a meeting with Finland Ambassador to Tehran Keyonor Vanto on Saturday.

He said that the agreement included visit by a Finnish agricultural delegation to Tehran late February to follow up ways to develop cooperation between the two countries.

Fathi added that private sectors of the two states should get more acquainted with each other.

Finland is located in northern Europe and its capital is Helsinki.

President of Finland visited Tehran on October 2017.

In past few years, delegations exchanged between the two countries have increased.
