Kabul blast death toll mounts to 95

Kabul, Jan 27, IRNA – The number of people killed in Kabul suicide explosion has climbed to 95 people and 158 others were injured, Afghan media official said.

The bomb-laden ambulances were parked in hospital and moved through targets, Afghan Interior Ministry's deputy spokesman Nusrat Rahimi said.

He said that 4 suspects has so far been arrested and are under investigation.

Victims are mostly civilians among whom are children and women.

A massive explosion jolted capital city of Kabul, Afghanistan on Saturday.

The blast was reported to happen inside the first security ring around the city of Kabul.

The area was one of the busiest zones in Kabul.

Taliban claimed the responsibility of the attack. They also claimed killing 80 police officers in this strike.

This is while, in a clash between armed men and Afghan forces on January 20 in and around an international hotel in Afghanistan's capital 12 people were injured.

The attack has claimed the lives of scores of people, according to unofficial forces. Afghan forces have reportedly killed two terrorists.
