Pakistan keen to bolster tourism ties with Iran

Islamabad, Jan 26, IRNA - Managing Director of Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) says that Pakistan will promote ties with Iran in tourism sector through mutual cooperation.

Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor Khan said this during a meeting with a visiting delegation of Iranian entrepreneurs from Khorasan Razavi province.
The delegation was led by Seyed Hamid Mousavi care taker of department of pilgrimage and tourism of Iran’s Khorasan Razavi province.
He said that both Iran and Pakistan are among those countries of the world where four seasons are available. He noted that there are innumerable historical and other beautiful places in both countries, which attract tourists from all over the world.
He further added that Pakistan is a country of ancient civilization but the Persian civilization has more impact on the societies around the globe.
Sayed Hamid Mousavi in his views said that Iran is committed to expand relations with Pakistan in all sectors especially tourism.
He noted that he had useful meetings with Pakistani officials which would help enhance mutual cooperation in tourism sector.
Earlier the Iranian delegation also visited Lahore and Islamabad and during their meetings with Pakistani officials they discussed ways to promote tourism between Iran and Pakistan.
Members of Iranian delegation in their meetings with Pakistani public and private sectors talked about hurdles to promotion of tourism ties between the two countries.
