Admittance of Iranmathematics team to  Netherlands world contest

Bushehr, Jan 23, IRNA – Head of Bushehr province Mathematics House Taher Yazdanpanah said on Tuesday that provincial mathematics team admitted to world competition of mathematics dubbed as 'A-Lympiade' in the Netherlands.

He said the primary phase of the competition was held in December and two 3-person teams from Isfahan and Bushehr provinces paved their way to final.

Bushehr team included 3 high school students.

The pupils are to solve an applied mathematical problem, which this year is about reduction of traffic.

The official said world mathematics competition will be held in March in the Netherlands with participation of different countries from Europe, Africa and Asia continents.

Yazdanpanah said that in 2014 and 2015 Bushehr team succeeded to participate in the world competition.
