Minister: Belarus eager to buy more oil from Iran

Tehran, Jan 23, IRNA – Iranian Petroleum Minister Bijan Zangeneh said on Tuesday that Belarus has signaled its eagerness to buy more oil from Iran.

Speaking to reporters after a meeting with the visiting Belarus Industry Minister Vitaly Vovk, Zangeneh said that Belarus has bought 2 million barrels of oil from Iran in two shipments so far.

Noting that Iran wants more enhanced energy relations with Belarus, the minister said that the two countries had no talks on cooperation in oil industry's downstream sector.
