Dutch officials pay tribute to Iran oil tanker victims

Vienna, Jan 19, IRNA – Ambassadors and foreign diplomats residing in the Netherlands attended Iran’s Embassy to sign a memorial book for the victims of Sanchi and pay tribute to them.

A memorial book is also open in Iran's mission in The Hague for the victims of the sad occasion.

The foreign diplomats sympathized with bereaved families of the deadly incident.

Iran flag also flown in half-mast in its embassy in The Hague on Monday.

The 30 Iranian and the two Bangladeshi sailors, who were members of the crew, had unfortunately been killed due to toxic gases and the huge size of the fire which embraced the tanker since the occurrence of the tragic incident, Head of Ports and Maritime Organization Mohammad Rastad told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Sunday morning.
