Farabi Int'l Festival to wrap up Sunday

Tehran, Jan 13, IRNA – Farabi International Festival underway in the Iranian capital is due to come to an end on Sunday, according to Hossein Mirzaei, the secretary of the festival.

The closing ceremony will be participated by President Hassan Rouhani, the Iranian minister of science, research and technology and a number of the country's academic officials where the winners of the 9th edition of Farabi Festival will be awarded.

Farabi International Festival has been held annually over the past ten years in the area of human sciences. The international section of the event is comprised of two parts, including Islamic studies and Iranology.

Some 499 international articles have been sent to the festival's secretariat.

Six out of the total 41 articles will be awarded in the festival on Sunday, and they will be in the international sector by researchers from Germany, Ireland, Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
