Palestine not to work with Trump: PA minister

Ramallah, Jan 12, IRNA – Palestine will not change its position to demand an alternative to US in the negotiations and working with the US President Donald Trump's administration, the Planning Minister for the Palestinian National Authority said.

'Despite of the US persistence in staying as a mediator to the negotiations with Israel [the Zionist regime], Palestinian National Authority will not change its stance,' Nabil Shaath told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Friday.

'This is what we have taken due to the US President's hostile decisions,' he added.

US president's December 6 announcement to recognize Beit-ul Moqaddas as the capital city of the Israeli regime has faced extensive criticisms all over the world even from the US allies.

Shaath stressed on the fact that the world has no tendency to stay silent against US mistakes in the Middle East. 'We won't work with Trump administration since they are monopolist in the negotiations.'

'US let the Zionist Regime to attack the West Bank brutally and showed no reaction toward their aggression,' he said adding, 'the international community is after a framework of Western and regional players to join.

Former US officials reportedly revealed to the Zionist Haaretz newspaper that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had offered US ex-President Barack Obama in 2014 to cede a part of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt to Palestinians for attaching the West Bank to Israel borders.
