Russia Defense Ministry announced on Saturday that its anti-submarine and sabotage units of Caspian Sea Fleet held a maneuver to confront and arrest hypothetical under-water enemy.
In the war-game one PT boat, several vessels and speed battle boats participated and data system to supervise and control under-water situation were used in the maneuver.
Russian Navy holds several maneuvers in Caspian Sea annually to maintain its preparedness.
The main goal of the maneuvers is to prevent terrorist activities in the Caspian Sea region and providing security in this area.
