Iran, Oman discuss economic cooperation

Kish Island, Jan 6, IRNA – Director General of Kish Free Zone Organization Ebrahim Ansari Lari in a meeting with Omani officials reviewed economic and banking cooperation.

In his two-day tour to Oman, Lari held meeting with Iran envoy to Muscat, officials of National Bank of Oman, Muscat Bank, Bank Dhofar and Alizz Islamic Bank.

Omani officials agreed to open branches in Kish Island, southern Iran, to activate Kish Air Airline accounts in Omani banks and also to issue international credit cards for Kish economic activists.

In separate meetings, he discussed investment in Kish Island with Omani businessmen.

He also announced that Kish-Muscat direct flight will be launched soon.

Kish Free Zone operations and affairs are managed by an organization whose responsibilities have been defined and approved by the Supreme Council of Free Trade- Industrial Zones.
