Official urges Iran to lodge complaint to US

Tehran, Jan 6, IRNA - Secretary of Iran's Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaei urged the Islamic Republic of Iran to file complaint against the US.

“We will not let US intervene further in Iran’s internal affairs,” Rezaei said.

“The US and the UK must stop interventions,” he said, adding that they clearly know we are capable of confronting them.

'We spare no effort in supporting Islamic Revolution’s achievements,' he noted.

'The defense-security-economic commission of the Expediency Council is to hold sessions over dissatisfactions inside the country,' Rezaei said

He also called for the three branches of government to review economic issues and to find a solution.

'The US has always been after creating tensions in Iran,” he said

“Since the beginning of the Islamic Revolution, Monarchists, US, Israel, the terrorist group Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) and Saudi Arabia have always gathered to make threats against Iran,” Rezaei reiterated.

He referred to recent developments in the region, saying during a meeting which was held with the attendance of head the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Iran Mission Center Michael D'Andrea, Chief of staff of Qusay Hussein and representatives of Former President of Iraqi Kurdistan Masoud Barzani, MKO and Saudi Arabia, they identified the date of operation.

“They decided to start an operation called 'productive convergence' to take control of all cities and to transfer weapons inside the country to kill some protestors,” he said.

“Then US called on the UNSC to hold meeting to pave the way for Europe to impose sanctions on Iran and finally to topple the system,” he added.

After some Iranians took to the streets to protest against unemployment and high prices, and, with the provocation of certain foreign and anti-Islamic Revolution media, some elements penetrated the lines of protestors to drive the peaceful protests towards violence, and US President Donald Trump overtly supported the rioters assuming that the former US administration had made a mistake about Iran riots in 2009.

Following that, the United States Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, whose animosity is as clear as daylight and tries to push Iran on top of the UNSC agenda through different subjects so that the Zionist regime can get rid of the international pressures and breathe a sigh of relief, was assigned to make scene against Iran in front of the press.
