No move should be allowed to disappoint sympathizers of Islamic System

Tehran, Jan 5, IRNA - A special aide to the Iranian president said that deep national solidarity of the Iranians has so far protected the country, reiterating that not a smallest move should be allowed to make enemies hopeful and disappoint the sympathizers of the Islamic System.

Hojjatoleslam Ali Younesi, special aide to the president of Iran for Ethnic and Religious Minorities' Affairs, made the remarks in a newly-ended reception held by Tehran Municipality on the occasion of new Christian year (2018) to honor Iranian Christians.

The ceremony was also attended by Tehran Mayor Mohammad Ali Najafi.

Younesi also hoped that holding similar ceremonies would continue to mark other national and religious occasions.

Recalling President Hassan Rouhani’s remarks in a recent speech where he had said, 'We are proud of Iran that is home to all Iranians including Muslims, Christians, Zoroastrians, Jews…etc,' Younesi said 'Definitely we are all proud of our beloved Iran that is our home because we all have common history, common glories, common joys and common sorrows.'

Over centuries, Iran has turned all Iranians into a big family living together peacefully and in a gorgeous manner, he said, adding that enemies' divisive plots and foreigners' mischievous acts are unable to affect the Iranian nation's solidarity.
