Pakistani media cover pro-government Iran rallies

Islamabad, Jan 3, IRNA - The Pakistani electronic and print media have given wide coverage to the pro-government rallies in Iran.

Daily ‘Dawn’ reported that tens of thousands gathered across Iran on Wednesday in a massive show of strength for the government in several cities.

Chants of “Leader, we are ready” were heard as images showed thousands rallying in the cities of Ahvaz, Kermanshah, Gorgan and elsewhere.

The demonstrators waved Iranian flags and pictures of the supreme leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, as well as placards saying “Death to seditionists”.

“We offer the blood in our veins to our leader,” was another popular chant.

‘Samma TV’ reported thousands gathered across Iran Wednesday to show strength for the government. They were chanting “Leader, we are ready”. The rallies were held in the cities of Ahvaz, Kermanshah, Gorgan and other cities.

A website ‘dailypakistan’ said thousands of pro-government supporters demonstrated in Iran in support of the government. People gathered peacefully in the capital, Tehran, in support of the government’s policies.

Demonstrators were waving the Iranian flag at the pro-government rallies.

Another website ‘pakistanpoint’ reported that tens of thousands gathered in cities across Iran on Wednesday in a massive show of support for the government.
