33k tons of goods exported from Razi, Khoy customs offices

Orumiyeh, Dec 27, IRNA – Director of Khoy Customs Office Iraj Qasemkhani said on Wednesday that in the first nine months of the year (started March 22) more than 33,000 tons of goods worth $23 million exported from Khoy customs office and Razi border crossing.

He told reporters that exported goods from the customs office comprise different types of ore, agricultural crops, fruit juice concentrates and industrial products.

Qasemkhani said Italy, Germany, Turkey, Iraq, Armenia, Georgia, Malaysia and Qatar are destinations of these exporting goods.

He said that in the same period 120,000 tons of goods worth more than $30 million imported to the country from the customs office, which shows increased by weight 180 percent and value 140 percent in comparison with the same period of preceding year.

Razi border crossing customs office is located 75 kilometers from Khoy City and in border between Iran and Turkey and it is the sole rail border between Iran, Turkey and European states.
